BUSINESS ELEMENTS team of engineers, in collaboration with Biomerieux, analyzed the operation of the two laboratories, designed their merger into a new space and reorganized their processes from scratch, based on Lean methodology. Specifically, a representative work period was analyzed, which was presented with statistical techniques over a year. The result of the new design was the maximum utilization of resources (equipment and workers), the ease of access to equipment, as well as the optimization of quality, cost and time axes.
