Production management in units that combine “T” type production flows, i.e. flows that require fabrication and assembly, presents significant difficulties based on different speeds, stocks and planning of material. As ERP production subsystems are not efficient to model such production activities, BUSINESS ELEMENTS team designed and implemented a unique monitoring, scheduling and storage system that incorporates distinct production activities and established new production rules in order to achieve their smooth collaboration.
